Taurus is currently ranked i Star on the Better Business Bureau Web Site.

After reading the reviews, it is clear that the only reason they have one star is because there is no option to give them Zero stars.

It is also sad that the BBB doesn't post all of the reviews submitted on this company. The review I posted no longer shows up on their site.

 Warning: its long, but it gives a clear picture of the severe lack of Taurus Customer Service.

Taurus Customer Service is the worst I have been forced to endure.

I returned a pistol to Taurus for repair due to a manufacturing defect.

They claimed that they didn't have the part to make the repair. Their solution to resolve this issue was to offer to replace the pistol with one that was seriously inferior to the one sent for repair. The only pistol in their lineup that was comparable was basically the same pistol, the primary difference was the  addition of a  .22 magnum cylinder and a price increase of $220. Bottom line is that Taurus wanted my to pay an additional $220 for them to replace the defective pistol they produced with a comparable one, even after I told them that they could keep the magnum cylinder.

Taurus received this pistol the first of December, on March 2nd I received the return of the defective pistol that Taurus refused to repair or replace with a comparable one.

This is Taurus's Idea of a LIFETIME REPAIR WARANTY.

Don't take this information at face value. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau only to discover that Taurus is currently ranked at one star ( Only because you don't have the option to rate less than one star).

If your looking for a Quality firearm backed by good customer service DON'T BUY TAURUS.

The BBB Website no longer shows the endless list of complaints submitted against Taurus USA.

The BBB Site states "This business profile is being updated." Under Customer Reviews No reviews are shown only the following message: "This profile is currently being updated. You will not be able to read any existing reviews at this time, but you may leave a review."

Bottom Line...DON'T BUY TAURUS
