CWP Training: Classroom training Saturday 9am~1pm
Range Qualification Saturday 2pm~ 4pm
CWP Training class is limited to 12 People [15 with restrictions].
Classroom Training and Range time is an estimate based on previous classes.
There is a $50 non-refundable deposit to hold your seat in the class.
Students will be fingerprinted and fill out the majority of the paperwork at the time their deposit is placed, at The Dragon Tactical Office (3015 Willow Creek Rd, Florence SC)
Note: Some documents must be completed on the day of the class.
The $50 deposit will be applied to the CWP Training fee of $90 + {$5 Certified Mail to S.L.E.D.}, remaining balance due on the day of class.
There is a minimum requirement of 8 registered students for the class to take place. If the minimum number of students has not been met by noon on the preceding Thursday the class will be canceled and any students signed up for that date will be notified. In the event of a class
cancellation students have the option of having their deposit returned or applied a future class.
The classroom portion
will be held at (2211 Second Loop Rd, Flo. SC 29501)
The Classroom Training will take approximately 4 hrs.
Dragon Tactical provides Fingerprinting services and all required documentation to CWP Class participants.
The live fire portion
of the class will be held at our range at (3015 Willow Creek Rd, Florence SC)

The Mandatory SLED Live fire qualification will be held at the Dragon Tactical firing range
(3015 Willow Creek Rd, Florence, SC 29505).
Approximately 2 hrs.
Keep your unloaded firearm in your locked vehicle until you are instructed to retrieve it for a safety inspection.
CWP Class participants are required to have the following on the day of the class:

Balance Due for CWP Training Class (Cash, Check or Credit Card)
• 2 Forms of Identification
• Valid Photo I.D.: SC Driver’s License / Government issued I.D.
• Voter registration / Utility bill (matching address)
• A safe and functioning Concealed Carry Firearm.
• A Concealed Carry Holster or Purse

. Starting August 15, 2021, the $50 fee formerly required by SLED, for your permit, is no longer required.
• Dragon Tactical will mail in your packet to S.L.E.D. Certified Mail for a $5 Fee.
• If you elect to mail in your CWP Application Packet, we recommend that it is mailed Certified or Priority Mail. (Do not add signature confirmation, the S.L.E.D. mailing address is a P.O. Box and will be returned if there is a signature request added.)
• The firearms qualification portion of this course is held outdoors. Please dress weather appropriate on class day and bring
appropriate outerwear during colder weather.
• Open-toed shoes and low cut necklines are not allowed on the firing line for males or females. Please wear a shirt where the
neckline touches your collar bone. A ball cap or visor is recommended.
• Eye and hearing protection is required and can be purchased at the range if you do not have your own.
• Your own pistol is suggested, but not required. If you do not have a pistol, please make arrangements with us IN ADVANCE to ensure one is available for your use during live-fire qualification.

• A minimum of 50 rounds of FACTORY ammunition for your firearm is required. NO RELOADS for this course. We do have some
ammunition for purchase at the range. Call ahead to verify ammunition availability.
• Students using their own .22 caliber pistol or using a Dragon Tactical .22 caliber pistol will need a 50 count box of 22LR ammunition for the class. Do not purchase bulk .22 LR for this class (425, 550, ect.. count box) Bring only 50 count boxes or you may purchase them at the range. (Call ahead to check on ammunition availability)

• Students may register and place their deposit by phone during regular business hours. All major credit cards accepted.
• Dragon Tactical will do your CWP fingerprints when you place your deposit for the class or, for those registering by phone, after the conclusion of the Live Fire Qualification. There is no additional fee for student fingerprinting.

and schedule an appointment with IdentoGo have your fingerprints scanned.
• Once you to have your digital prints you can submit your application at one of the IdentoGo locations throughout the state. See information on the SLED web site.

Covid-19 Virus Precautions:
Anyone showing any signs of illness will not be allowed in the classroom.
Social distancing is encouraged while attending the training. (6 ft.)
Masks and Hand Sanitizer will be available.
Mask are currently not required.
Please respect anyone that has made the decision to continue this safety precaution.
Please use the available hand sanitizer before handling paperwork and test materials.
The Health and Safety of our Staff and Our Students is our highest priority.
In the event of illness your deposit can be moved to a later date, if you contact Dragon Tactical no less than 5 business days before your scheduled class.
